We are so excited to announce the newest addition to the Foster Angels team – Emily Seay! Emily is the Senior Program Manager of Guide to Thrive for Foster Angels of Central Texas. She has lived in Austin almost all her life, moving away for two years to attend the University of Kansas and returning to complete her education at St. Edward’s University with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Social Work. Emily has been building her career at the SAFE Alliance Children’s Shelter for the past thirteen years, as a Youth Care Worker, Teen Parent and Early Childhood Program Case Manager, and time as Director of both the Transitional Living and Supervised Independent Living Programs, as well as Director of Teen Parent and Emergency Care Programs. Emily has a passion for working with foster youth, particularly older teens who are preparing to exit foster care. She is excited to join this team and continue working with this population to positively impact their futures. Emily enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and attending performing arts shows.
