About the Role:
Foster Angels of Central Texas (FACT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care. We are committed to ensuring children in care have their basic needs met and whenever possible provide life-enhancing opportunities to help create a sense of normalcy. Reporting to the Communications Director, the Development and Grants Manager will help co-create and execute strategic goals; diversify and expand current fundraising strategies with an emphasis on individual, corporate, foundation, special events and third party. The Manager will touch on all aspects of development, including prospecting, cultivating, solicitating and stewardship. The Manager will play a role in overseeing the grant portfolio which includes researching potential funders, writing grants and completing grant reports. In addition to work closely with the Communications Director, The Manger will work with the Executive Director and program team on the larger fundraising and programmatic events throughout the year.
