Austin-Area Nonprofits Receive Grant Awards from Trellis Foundation to Support College Completion
Trellis Foundation has awarded seven Central Texas organizations grants to support their college completion work: Austin Black Physicians Association, Breakthrough Central Texas, Capital IDEA, College Forward/College Possible Texas, Foster Angels of Central Texas, Foundation Communities, and Jeremiah Program.
This general operating support is part of $2.5 million in total grants to 26 Texas community-based organizations providing direct impact services to support students in college completion.
“These grants are an acknowledgment of the innovative and essential work that community-based organizations engage in and our commitment to this important part of the postsecondary completion ecosystem,” said Trellis Foundation’s Executive Director Kristin Boyer. “We are proud to support these Central Texas organizations and their work for students.”
