The goal of every case is always for children to reunify with their parents whenever it is safe to do so. While this isn’t always possible – this month we are celebrating when it is possible.
When a sibling group of three brothers entered foster care at the end of 2021, they were relieved to be placed away from their father, who was abusive to their mom – but they were anxious to be away from their mom. After their mom escaped her situation, the department of family protective services were able to place the boys with her on a return and monitor.
During this monitored period, their mom was going to need help with child care once the boys got out of school and she needed to work during the day. Thankfully, Foster Angels is always here to help ease a reunification, and we signed all three boys up for camp this summer while their mom works.
