Foster Angels’ Fourth Annual Appreciation Luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16th, at the Omni South Park Hotel with 400 to 500 expected members of the community to attend, including many Child Protective Services Caseworkers, company representatives who support Foster Angels, and similar organizations. The event takes place during National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about helping children in need, and for the role the caseworkers can play in the lives of children who have had a history of abuse or neglect.

Foster Angels will recognize 10 exceptional foster children making terrific strides towards their futures.  Each child will be honored with an onstage award.  This is a great opportunity for the public to meet some of the inspiring children we serve on a daily basis.

This year’s keynote speaker is Lauri Burns, author of Punished for Purpose and founder of The Teen Project. A volunteer centric organization, The Teen Project provides teens aging out of the foster care system with all the resources and support of an intact family for a successful transition into adulthood. The event will be emceed by Judy Maggio from KEYE News.

Tickets to the event are $100 and we also have sponsorship packages available to individuals and local businesses: Diamond Level for $10,000, Gold Level for $5,000 and Silver Level for $2,000.  All sponsorship levels will be featured in our newsletter, and will have their logo or name printed on the luncheon program, which will be at each table setting.  Diamond level sponsors will have their name or logo featured on our invitation and will be featured on a banner more here placed at center stage.

If you have any questions, or parties that are interested in sponsorship, please contact our Director, Liz Wilson at 512-732-2329 or at liz@fosterangelsctx.org.
