Help Kids in Foster Care Start the School Year with Confidence

Each year, hundreds of children and teens in foster care across Central Texas start school without the supplies they need to feel prepared and confident. At Foster Angels of Central Texas, we believe that every student deserves to walk into the classroom feeling ready to succeed. That’s where you come in.

We aim to provide over 800 youth with new backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies. Your donation helps cover items like:

  • Pencil Box or Pouch

  • 10 Count Markers

  • 24 Count Crayons

  • 12 Count Colored Pencils

  • 5" Blunt Tip Scissors

  • Glue Sticks

  • 2-Pocket Folders

  • Wide and College Ruled Notebooks

  • Accordion Folders

  • No. 2 Pencils

  • Blue/Black/Red Ink Pens

We also accept gift cards (Target, Walmart, Amazon) to help older youth purchase a very special first-day-of school outfit that fits their style and needs.

How You Can Help

  • Donate Supplies or Gift Cards
    Purchase from our Amazon Wishlist or drop off new supplies at our office.

  • Host a Drive
    Get your company, church, or community group involved by hosting a Collection drive! Through your donations we’ll provide the materials — you rally your people.

  • Make a Monetary Donation
    Every $150 provides a child with a backpack full of supplies and a first-day-of school outfit.
