Foster Angels of Central Texas will hold its second annual Appreciation Luncheon for advocates of abused and neglected children in April:

  Please show your support for those who help abused and neglected children everyday. Donate a door prize for hard-working caseworkers (such as a restaurant voucher, a local gift card, or a spa treatment).

• The Prom Rack collects new and gently worn prom appropriate dresses, accessories, donations and shoes for youth that have experienced the foster system in Central Texas. The Prom Rack distributes prom attire to youth at an event designed to provide a day of personal attention and personal care from volunteers in the community. The session ends with every student being ready to attend their respective proms at their respective schools or group placements.

  Many Texas foster children who have died in the system have not received a proper burial because there wasn’t enough money to pay for their funerals. Foster Angels is there to make sure those children are properly remembered.
